USS Cobia, Manitowoc’s World War II submarine, was towed up Lake Michigan for her first dry dock since 1996
The tow footage is circulating again a year on. The Gato-class boat left the Manitowoc museum on September 8, 2025 and returned October 15 after a $1.5 million refit that scraped three tons of mussels off her hull.
