Trusted News Discovery – Powered by AI and Verified by Humans

How we verify

Every news site says it’s accurate. We publish how we check, and we let outsiders check again.

Every Badiyaa story is checked three ways: by our editors, by Grok, and by you. You can see where any story stands in the strip under its byline, and Grok’s full verdict on our Grok Fact Check pages.

Editorial review

An editor on the Badiyaa Editorial Desk reads every story against its sources, usually within hours of publishing, and corrects or removes anything that doesn’t hold up.

Grok Fact Check

Every story has a Grok Fact Check panel. Grok, the AI model made by xAI, has no connection to Badiyaa. Each week we give it every story we published and ask it to find the errors: it lists the checkable claims, looks for the earliest or most authoritative source, and scores the story out of 10 on a fixed rubric. Its score, the date and its note, quoted word for word, go on our Grok Fact Check pages, 50 stories to a page. Grok can be wrong too, so every panel also has two buttons: Verify with Grok opens Grok with the same fact-check prompt, and Ask @grok on X lets you ask it in public.

The audits so far

Our first audit, on 16 October 2026, covered every story in the History section (15 stories). Grok’s average score was 9.0 out of 10, the lowest was 8.5, and it found no fabrications. The second, on 17 October, covered the other 130 published stories: average 8.8, lowest 8.0. Every story’s score and Grok’s note are on the Grok Fact Check pages, and the full History audit, with its rubric and limits, is on the audit page.

Reader verification

Any reader can run the same check with any model, any archive or their own eyes. The exact prompt is on every Grok Fact Check page. If you find an error, send it. An editor reads every report. If it holds up, the story is corrected within 48 hours and your name goes on the correction, if you want it to.

What this is not

A Grok score is one observation of a live story on a given date. It is not a certification, and a single model is not a jury. We publish the limits of each check alongside it, because a check you can’t question isn’t worth much.
