Trusted News Discovery – Powered by AI and Verified by Humans

Reader Verifiers

Badiyaa is written with AI assistance and checked by people. Reader Verifiers are the widest part of that human check: readers around the world who spot errors, flag what we got wrong and help keep every story accurate.

How it works

  1. Spot it. At the end of every article there is a Spot an error? panel. Tell us what is wrong and, if you can, add a link that shows the correct fact.
  2. We check it. Every report is read by an editor on our Editorial Desk, usually the same day.
  3. We fix it in public. If you are right, we correct the story and add a dated correction note to the article, so every reader can see what changed.
  4. You get the credit. If you choose, the note names you by first name and city, and you join the roll of Badiyaa Verifiers below.

What makes a great report

  • A wrong fact, name, date, number, quote or place.
  • A claim that has since changed or been officially updated.
  • A photo, caption or credit that does not match the story.
  • A link to an official or primary source that shows the correct fact.

Differences of opinion about a story, or requests to remove coverage, go to our Contact page instead.

Coming next: Verifier rewards

We are building a second phase for our most active verifiers, with limited-edition Badiyaa designs and other thank-yous. Verified corrections you make now will count towards it.

Your privacy

Name, city and email are all optional. We use your email only to follow up on your report, never show it and never add it to a mailing list. We only show your first name and city if you tick the credit box. See our Privacy policy.

The roll of Badiyaa Verifiers

The roll opens with our first accepted correction. Could it be yours?
