"articleBody": "Russell Wilson turned his wife’s birthday into a full-blown love story on screen. As Ciara hit 41 on Sunday, October 25, the former New York Giants quarterback posted an Instagram reel stitched from years of their life together: dinner dates, slow dances in the rain, walks along a boardwalk on vacation, and the moment at their wedding when he lifted her veil. The caption was pure devotion. “Happy Birthday my Everything,” he wrote. “Your heart and strength inspire everyone around you. You are our rock and there are no words to describe the gratitude I have in being able to share my life with you.” He signed off with a line fans quickly started quoting back to him: “I love you in every lifetime Mrs. Wilson.” Ciara’s reply stole the comments Ciara answered under the reel within hours, and her comment reads like someone who watched it before she was fully awake. “Oh my sweet love. This video,” she wrote. “I’m so grateful to wake up to you and our babies this morning. Having you and our babies is all I need. My heart is full! Thank you Jesus! I love you so so so much!” When we checked the post on the evening of October 27 (India time), that reply alone carried more than 36,000 likes. Fans flooded the thread with wedding-day nostalgia and prayers for the couple, and one of the most-liked comments said the couple’s tenderness “gives me so much hope.” The line he has used before Longtime followers may have spotted a familiar phrase. Wilson called Ciara “the best mom, wife, best friend, and hardest worker” in this year’s caption, and he used exactly those words in his birthday message for her 39th in October 2024. That year he opened with “Happy Birthday my Queen!” and added a cheer for her dancing: “Keep Dancing! Keep shining!” So the formula is consistent: a long caption, a montage, and a public thank-you from Ciara in his comments. In 2024 she wrote that waking up to him and their children was “all that I need on this day.” Two years later the wording shifted, but the message landed in the same spot. A big year for the Wilsons The tribute caps a busy stretch for the family. Here is how 2026 has unfolded for the couple, based on their own announcements and releases: July 6: Ciara released the song “Yes” to mark their 10th wedding anniversary. They married in 2016. September: the couple announced on Instagram that they are expecting a fifth child, in a video showing Ciara pinning a white onesie to a clothesline. October 25: Ciara turned 41, and Wilson posted the montage. Wilson has also moved to the broadcast booth and now works as an NFL analyst for CBS, while Ciara has kept her music career running alongside a growing business portfolio. Twenty-two years after “Goodies” It is easy to forget how long Ciara has been in the spotlight. Producer Jazze Pha helped launch her career, and her debut album, Goodies, arrived in September 2004. Its title track, featuring Petey Pablo, reached No. 1 in the United States, and the follow-ups “1, 2 Step” with Missy Elliott and “Oh” with Ludacris both hit the top as well. The album was certified four times platinum in the US in June 2024. Her eighth studio album, CiCi, came out on August 22, 2025, led by the single “Ecstasy.” Over two decades she has picked up a Grammy, two BET Awards and a Woman of the Year award in 2008, and the CiCi single “Low” with Diamond Platnumz reached No. 20 on R&B/hip hop radio last fall. That history is part of why a birthday clip drew such a response. Fans have watched Ciara grow up in public since she was a teenager in Atlanta, and Wilson’s reel plays like a highlight package of the decade she has spent with him. The video had been up for two days when we checked, with fans still adding birthday wishes to a thread that had passed 25,000 comments on the Facebook side alone.
