Oldest biscuit branch in #India #ParleG has done the highest sales in coronavirus pandemic lockdown. In other side, other brands are not getting much profit because of lockdown, but, Parle-G has broken the records and done the highest sales ever in 82-year history.
Common man to celebrities, who don’t like Parle-G ?, one of the oldest brand since 1938, everyone’s favorite biscuit Parle-G has sold maximum numbers of biscuits. According to a report, the makers of Parle-G biscuits brand has positively accepted that March, April and May have been there best month ever since they started their business. Mayank Shah the senior category head of Parle said ‘During the lockdown, Parle-G became the comfort for many, this is common man’s biscuit’.
Bollywood actor #RandeepHooda has also shared a tweet and he said ‘My whole career is feuled by chai and Parle-G since theatre days’.
He also asked the company to switch its plastic packaging biodegradable material. Parle products has almost 130 factories across the country, 120 of then are on contract manufacturing units, while 10 are owned premises. In the month of March, company had also announced to donate 3 crore packs of Parle-G biscuits in India.
