Roposo was started for the fashion platform but soon transformed into a social media platform. Roposo allows users to create short film digital videos across 30 channels in 10 different local languages. Many users were comparing Roposo with Tiktok. To clarify this comparison, during his interview with one of the leading media groups, Mayank Bhangadia says Roposo is a lot different. He said Tiktok forces users to create short videos lip-syncing to music or mimic based on popular trends. That’s not our philosophy, Mayank Bhangadia says that he and his team have taken a different approach to the way users want to pitch.
Mayank Bhangadia also said that he wants creators to make money on Roposo. He is also planning a marketplace on the platform where brands and creators come together and create a lot of social commerce content.
