By the end of lockdown 4.0, Indian Railways plans to launch passenger train services with 200 train journeys to start from June 1.
These new trains will be plying in addition to the shramik special trains and air-conditioned special trains which are carrying passengers from Delhi to 15 major cities
Because Indian Railways has started this train people are really looking forward to meeting their loved ones for a long time every people have been stuck in Different cities and they may have been postponed in their travel plans but now with the trains starting services they will now be able to meet their families and friends.
Indian Railway (IR) runs more than 20,000 passenger trains daily, on both long-distance and suburban routes, from 7,321 stations across India.
Indian Railways has also issued Special Safety guidelines for Passengers to ensure their safety
Indian Railways has already restarted passenger train operations from 12th May 2020, initially with 15 pairs of trains (30 return journeys). These trains are being run as special trains from New Delhi Station connecting Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad and Jammu Tawi.
Now it will start more train services.
